Sustainability Initiatives
At Holiday Inn Resort Bali Nusa Dua, we are deeply committed to sustainable tourism, community support, and environmental preservation. Through our ongoing sustainability initiatives, we strive to make a positive impact on Bali and beyond. From managing food waste to supporting mental health and marine conservation, we invite our guests to be part of our meaningful journey toward a greener future.
Food Surplus Management
In partnership with the Scholars of Sustenance (SOS) Foundation, we help reduce food insecurity by redistributing surplus cooked, nutritious meals to those in need across Bali. This food rescue program reduces waste while supporting vulnerable communities.
Food Waste Management
Our collaboration with Magi Farm focuses on transforming food waste into organic fertilizer using the innovative Black Soldier Fly bioconversion technology. This sustainable waste management solution is not only eco-friendly but also supports our resort’s gardens and green spaces, creating a circular system of resource use.
One Dollar One Night Program
We encourage our guests to join our One Dollar One Night donation program, which supports three impactful beneficiaries:
- Bali Bersama Bisa Foundation – Advocating for mental health support and empowerment for people with disabilities and marginalized communities.
- Bali Blue Harmony Foundation – Committed to coral reef restoration and the empowerment of Bali’s coastal communities.
- Traineeship Program – Providing annual scholarships and hands-on work experience for students with disabilities, preparing them for a career in hospitality through our inclusive training initiative.
Join Us in Making a Difference
Every stay at our resort is an opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive future. By supporting these initiatives, guests become part of our commitment to responsible travel, environmental conservation, and community empowerment in Bali.
